Sleep - Doing What Comes Naturally
Provides a deeper understanding of sleep and the role of our mind and thoughts in inhibiting good sleep, with takeaway tools for how to sleep and rest better
Lack of sleep has far-reaching effects on physical, mental and emotional health, on performance and on the impact we have on those around us. And yet, these days it has become a commodity that people too often may boast about getting by with too little of.
Most of us who have a problem with sleep may already have a lot of information about the do's and dont's but somehow fail to put these into action effectively. The solutions themselves become part of the problem. This workshop addresses the barriers and how to build up habits that help.
The workshop examines what gets in the way of a good night’s sleep focusing in particular on our minds, and what promotes it, and explores what we each can do to maximise this natural function of daily life, including breathing techniques, journaling, wind down rituals and managing our energy throughout the day.
