Understanding & Managing Stress
Teaches participants how to understand, mitigate and prevent stress.
The damaging impact of stress both on individual health and long-term business success is well known. On an individual level stress can leave us feeling lethargic, anxious and lacking in creativity and in the long-term have serious implications for our mental and physical health. For business, stress is one of the most common causes of long-term sick leave and a major drain on productivity and innovation.
However, much can be done to not just alleviate stress, but to build abilities and skills that generate a healthy working environment. This workshop unlocks the concept and examines the signs of stress, exploring both the science such as what is happening in our brains, and the behaviours we may demonstrate. It provides an understanding of its causes, effects, and long-term implications. And crucially, the workshop teaches easily implementable tools to move from not just coping but flourishing.
