Poor mental health costs UK employers between £33 billion - £42 billion per year (1)

Employers have seen a rise in the number of staff with mental health problems - Over a fifth (22%) now report that mental ill health is the primary cause of long-term absence. There has also been a significant increase in the number of reported common mental health conditions among employees in the past 12 months (2)
