Rest & Reset: Clarity, Direction & Positivity

 
 

With this week’s theme of creating positive intentions for 2018, here are some mindfulness tips from Naomi to help you gain the clarity, direction and positivity needed for this to be your best year yet


Stillness is a fountain of clarity and creativity:

Taking moments out of your day, even if its 5-10 mins, to allow the mind to settle down from the constant activity of ‘doing’ into more rested state of ‘being’, will allow you to connect to a greater state of clarity.
 
It’s the small gaps in between thoughts, when the mind is in state of relaxed awareness, which allows our intuition to bubble up with gems of genuine insight and creativity. A rich foundation to cultivate and harness our desires for 2018.


Cultivate an attitude of gratitude

Practicing gratitude is a fundamental and powerful exercise for attracting more of the good stuff into your life - it’s known as the law of attraction. The more we express gratitude for what we have, the more great opportunities and experiences come our way.
 
Take a moment before going to sleep to write down 3 things you are grateful for at the end of your day. Then read your gratitude list on the way to work the next morning, to start your day with a positive mindset.


Give more of what you want:

If you would like more of something in your life, trying giving it first, without any expectation of anything in return. You’ll always get back more than you gave!
 
Want more respect and recognition at work? Try complimenting your colleagues more. Want more love? Show and give it more to those around you and yourself.
 
Being generous with our time, energy, unique gifts and talents, money, love, kindness, and most importantly, our smiles helps contribute positively to the world around us, attracting even more positivity back to us.
