How to Destress in the Office

Work related stress, anxiety and depression account for over half of work days lost due to illness in the UK. With life speeding up, technology meaning we’re always connected, and the boundaries between work and home blurring we’re in even greater need of practices that will help us destress.

This workshop offers five easy to practice techniques that will immediately help reduces levels of stress in body and mind. Throughout the day tension in our muscles builds as our stress levels rise. This workshop teaches how to restore the body to a state of calm using a few discrete stretches that can be done at the desk without anybody noticing.

The workshop teaches a 90 second meditation that reduces cortisol levels and gives the body a chance to relax as the mind becomes calm.

Participants leave the workshop with a toolkit of five practical techniques they can start using immediately to reduce stress and increase wellbeing.
