Explores how to give yourself the best chance of staying well through the winter months

 

Winter is a time that is naturally associated with coughs and colds. Despite this, there are many things that you can do to protect yourself, so you either avoid getting sick or if you do fall victim, you can bounce back quickly. 

This workshop looks at the different areas and systems in the body that can impact on your chance of getting ill and what you can do to support them. We also dive in more detail into the immune system, covering how it works, as well as substances and practices you can use and follow to enhance it.  

Key Outputs: 

  • Develops an understanding how different systems of the body work to prevent you getting ill
  • Teaches food and lifestyle factors to support a healthy immune system
  • Builds an understanding of how factors like sunlight impact on health
