Movement Motivation

We all know that we should be moving more, sitting less and generally leading a more active lifestyle. But life gets in the way, and often taking time to exercise falls to the bottom of our to do list. But making a sustainable commitment to daily movement has big health benefits for both our physical and mental health.

Overview

Suitable for all staff

This workshop is designed to support participants in finding or reconnecting with their motivation to move and share practical strategies to immediately begin to make positive change to benefit overall health and wellbeing.

In this session we get clear on what healthy movement is and we dive into the psychology of making healthy habits - the key to sustainable change. Participants will learn about latest research findings on the benefits of movement, the health consequences of sedentary life and the links between posture and mood.

Participants will also get clear on their personal motivators for infusing more movement into your day.

We share a quick, simple and effective morning routine to start your day with purpose and energy.
