Movement Snacks

In our increasingly desk-bound, screen-heavy work lives, regular movement isn’t a luxury — it’s a necessity. The body is designed to move often, not just during gym sessions or weekend hikes. When we sit too long or ignore the body’s natural need for mobility, we accumulate tension, experience aches and pains, and our posture begins to deteriorate. Over time, this can lead to reduced focus, lower mood, and increased risk of burnout.

Overview

When we integrate short, regular Movement Snacks into our day - simple, accessible movements lasting 1–5 minutes - we unlock physical ease, emotional reset, and even improved communication and collaboration. Movement becomes a form of self-regulation, a rhythm of care that supports both wellbeing and productivity.

This session is delivered by Chris Hardy. As a qualified Personal Trainer with a specialism in mobility, breath-led strength, and workplace resilience, Chris is passionate about making movement accessible to everyone — not just fitness fanatics. Chris brings together over a decade of experience in teaching embodied practices, along with a background in mental health and behaviour change.

Movement Snacks is a way to reintroduce natural movement into busy lives — not through guilt or obligation, but through joy, rhythm, and ease.
